Browsing Timothy Everest site, I came across this ensemble and it caught my eye this is my style to the core. Only thing missing is a pocket square. Thoughts?

Anderson & Sheppard had been on Savile Row since 1906. In this video they go a bit into the cutting process of a suit jacket. After watching something like this how in the hell can you not appreciate a suit.

#WorkHardAndDressWell

“Layer up! For many of you (outside of Florida) starting to experience flashes of the soon to come weather its the most exciting time of the year to play around with your wardrobe. The fall and winter seasons give you the chance to layer up and really add depth to your outfit. The picture here is one of those tumblr photos that continue to go around. I don’t know who took the photo so apologies for no photocredit.
I wanted to breakdown this gentlemen’s outfit a bit. Layering can be somewhat intimidating but that shouldn’t scare you away from giving it a try. At first glance, this outfit has a lot going on however it is very cohesive. The grey sport coat actually goes very well with the tweed waistcoat. I will be honest, I wouldn’t have given grey and brown a try before this picture but as of recently, I have tried it and I’m digging it.
In my opinion the shirt and tie are done very well here. Both pieces have pattern to them which is not an easy move, however the shirt has a less dense pattern to it and the red provides a nice dark foundation for the tie to stand out. My favorite thing about this whole ensemble is that he pulled the yellow out of the tie and tied it back in with the shoes, there a bit blurry but you get the idea.
Lastly and most important in my book are the finishing details. From the lapel flower to the pocket square and the gloves the outfit here is all tied together. Now I will never say it is easy to layer but nothing is done well without practice and risk. So to all my sartorial gents enjoy the weather and #WorkHardAndDressWell”

Ozwald Boateng SS12

Inspired by a family safari trip to Kenya, Ozwald Boateng debutes his Spring Summer Collection. Boateng has been an inspiration for me since I started Art-n-Hustle. Where I’m from there are no black tailors or even relative black designers to look up to. Of course we have had our Jay-Z and Diddy’s with their clothing lines but honestly they simply slap their names on t-shirts and jeans however  I’m talking a real designer. Ozwald never afraid of color brings us a collection truly inspired by his trip.

”The moment of realisation came when I was sitting there in my beige shorts and khaki top and I looked at my guide, a Masai warrior dressed in an amazing array of rich colours, from emerald green, vibrant turquoise blue to lion red and I was blown away. We are conditioned or told to dress in a certain way but there was our guide who is going to track down these animals and I realised that it was all nonsense, it means nothing.” – Ozwald Boateng

I am a fan of this collection, being an advocate for color; I hope pallets like this make it over here to the U.S. In my opinion Ozwald has always been a bit daring a little ahead of his time, however most true artist are.
